Matter of degrees.
Outrageous, despicable, immoral etc etc a few of the words that could describe the current scandal that is ''Hackgate''.
How can they justify hacking into murder victims/families phones to get the latest headline? We are all becoming aware of the depth of this situation and how corrupt our own government seem as we learn that it doesn't stop at the editors room.
We are thirsty for more information, for more awareness of the corruption, now we realise we have been living in a bubble, but what if the information we receive is from the corrupt itself? Do we carry on listening intently in the hope that those who have led us down the garden path will be brought to justice or do we take the moral high ground and refuse to indulge in this new information as it is most likely being brought to us by the same methods that created the corruption to start with.
What makes us better?
Are we the same as the crooked politicians and bent coppers, only deciding if something is wrong if it doesn't suit our purpose? Or is it for the greater good? I can't make up my mind, surely if something is wrong, there is no room for maneuver, or is it a matter of degrees?
